4.28 | Illegal Substances
4.28.A | In alignment with WT Rule 34.02.01.W1, the act of using, possessing, being under the influence of, manufacturing, or distributing illegal drugs or illegally obtained or possessed controlled substances is prohibited.
4.28.B | Abusing legally obtained drugs by failing to take the drug as directed is prohibited. Except as expressly permitted by law, use, possession, manufacturing, distributing, or being a party thereto, of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), heroin, narcotics, or other controlled or prescribed substances, drug paraphernalia, or dangerous drugs is also prohibited. Individuals may not operate a motor vehicle or another form of transportation while under the influence of drugs or while intoxicated.
4.28.C | The possession of drug-related paraphernalia, except in accordance with federal, state, or local law, is prohibited. Violations of this nature will be referred to the Office of Community Standards to be adjudicated through the Student Conduct process.
